Nagle Bone

A little sneak peak of my favorite performance EVER done at a party as an offering for our dear friend Sagiv with my loves and main squeeze @naglebone ♥️ Funny story….this past week my roommate @kelseycult started practicing singing with Nagle and we wanted to create a special performance for this event. We have been so busy with Wildfire that we haven’t had time to do anything, we needed to do something in flow and easy on our brains. I took a workshop with @phoenix.fireflow recently and she taught us bubbles and fire eating and I fell in love, so I suggested we do fire bubbles because it was something we felt we could do with some sort of structure, but without practicing before. The only practice we did was making sure we knew how to turn the fire bubbler on an hour before the party (haha not something I recommend to everyone practice is definitely the move with things like this)…we never rehearsed this together and just trusted everyone to vibe. Plus I am so grateful to Phoenix for being in a healed place as a performer in a world where things can feel competitive and being excited to share her skills with the community so we can all up level and grow. Also shoutout to @lifeoferic for making this bubbler for us a year ago that we finally got around to using…obviously we were just waiting for the right moment 🤣 Getting to create with three people I love so dearly coming from a play of flow, trust and play was the most fulfilling experience ever AND finally doing an act with my love after 9 years of developing our relationship. I had a lot of healing to do to take it seriously to create with him but it’s the start of a new era. And as always, my chaos monster could not exist fully without the support of my grounded business partner slash life husband @kimberly_spins - cheers to a new era with a new way to do things…but we will still definitely have our regimented side that has helped us grow what feels so quickly over the last couple years. Feeling so healed, I know it’s a continuous journey and one I am committed to. This collaboration is definitely going somewhere on a big stage somewhere I am calling it in!!!! Here is just a taste 😘

😛just a taste😛 “Heavy is the feeling when you care too much” except when you’re making art. Shout out to all my artists and performers friends who hustle every holiday to bring the magic 🪄 I can’t believe I chose October to jump in the studio, but I have zero regrets. It is by far the busiest time of year for gig life but I feel so alive and excited to share all the goodies coming. 💀

Day 2 in the studio recording vocals for “Never Land” I’m a monk, not a mogul.
I hate social media. I hate industrial culture.
I hate the drone of the machine… and taxes. (Don’t we all?) I don’t mind being a cliché — I know I’m more than that.
But it really feels like a damned-if-I-do, damned-if-I-don’t kind of life.
Do I sell my soul to the grind, or trade courage to hide from risk?
A false dichotomy, but not completely out of touch with the reality of that tension. I came to LA in my twenties, worked hard, and produced two albums.
After tasting disappointment in the music industry, I said: “No thank you.” Until I found the silver lining: all of you.
My community. You gave me the chance to share my art and inspire my craft.
That shifted my perspective. I’m still the artist, but I’m not alone. Now, with 16 hours of studio time booked this month and a team of solid humans helping behind the scenes, I’m so grateful to be creating something beautiful again to share with you. Over this next year, I’m building the bridge as I cross it.

Last month, I had the incredible honor of opening for @robbiebtw at his fundraiser event Crescendo✨
After 9 years of performing solo serenades I finally got a chance to break the mold and try something new. I put my guitar down for the first time and holy shit what an experience! The stage is a funny place because it feels like I am all alone standing up there and yet on display for everyone to see how alone I am. I’ve been used to seeing the stage is it cold isolated bubble surround by shroud of thousand eyes silently judging in the dark, but recently I’m feeling more at home and I’m learning to transcend that barrier. I love it and I’m learning a lot. - But of all that I have learned so far, one thing stands out from the rest. Take note fellow performers: If you inform people at the beginning of your show that you will not be taking off your pants, you can count on them to beg and heckle you for the entire performance to do just the exact opposite. That is to say, I kept my pants on but wow you all really only seem to care about one thing. Hysterical. Bless you all. What an audience! What an example of fun humans=) -
This night was special because it made me realize that I always want to be surrounded by heart centered, creative, fun and sassy people on this journey as a performing artist. The audience, this community, and everyone who gave there time and energy to make this happen inspire me. Thank you! This models exactly the kind of cult I want to build around my music.
