Last week wasn’t the joyful and productive week I had hoped for. It was one of those weeks that reminded me, over and over again, that life rarely unfolds exactly the way we plan or wish it would. Living and simply existing can feel overwhelmingly real sometimes, there will be days when we love feeling everything so deeply, and other days when both our bodies and souls seem to swear an oath against feeling anything at all. Still, I think the important thing is to keep trying to stand back up every time we fall. To keep moving, even slowly 🌹
I’m hoping the coming week will be a little kinder, more colorful, and more productive for all of us! 💝
The mirror in the third photo was made for a close friend of mine and will eventually become a tabletop mirror, and in the fourth photo you can see some forms I’m planning to paint in the next few days. The floral wall charms will also be available by the end of this week 🤍

Today I opened my final glaze firing as well, but unfortunately the results weren’t great. There were some glazing issues on a few of the mugs and one of the pitchers, so I’ll need to refire them. I’ll try my best to have everything ready by Monday, but if that’s not possible, I may have to delay the drop date slightly 🥲
Still, I couldn’t resist sharing some of the pieces with you 💝
I wish I could take it out already fully glazed from the kiln, but it’s still firing and I couldn’t wait 🫠
These pieces will come out of the kiln tomorrow, and I can’t wait to see them with their golden luster 🥹💝

I haven’t applied the gold luster yet, which means some of what you see here won’t stay the same,, they’ll catch a little more light, a little more glow 💖
I’m returning to the clay today, there are barely any pieces left waiting to be painted. if you feel drawn to one in particular, I’d love to hear it 🤍 I can follow that feeling while I’m shaping what comes next 💝
