Gotta say - doing this event production thing has become a huge part of my life.
When @andrewcanlon and I first met, we both connected on the fact that the NYC music scene felt like it was missing something. Somewhere between the hyperfocus on views, on plays, on DATA, the joy and love for the art form was being left out.
So many conversations on how to get viral… how to get on playlists… and so little actually meant to boost the art itself. To build a community around it.
So we did the damn thing. We set out to create something different, that gave people a sense of comfort and home, where they could come and perform, or sell their art, or just participate and feel accepted as that - an artist.
We have been doing this since last year and are about to step this up in a big way. Stay tuned.
