Our FDM program is making @loyolachicago the first university to have this professional lens calibration system installed into the classroom this spring, giving students hands-on experience with the same processes used on real sets.
The Opti Glide Compact is a lens calibration table created by MYT Works used in camera and lens preparation, testing, and assessment. The precision device provides pinpoint accuracy when comparing physical distances to lens markings, helping to ensure that the lenses we provide our cinematography students have an objective and reliable means of nailing focus shot after shot.

The Cinetique new motors and encoders are being wired for the new iteration of the system. Latest testing is bringing a whole new level of smoothness and precision that will further the Cinetique’s unique features and capabilities.
Our latest pre-production 525-VII Vertical-Lift base plate coming off our CNC Mill! This is the fifth iteration with the most recent design and engineering updates. Once assembled and tested, the Verti-Lift production will begin.
