Sneaking in a few hours on the studio build between a VERY busy schedule of recording/mixing/mastering - (thank you for all the work btw🙏). Today, I’m spraying one of the iso room’s beautiful maple window frames and receptacle box mounts. In between coats, I’m cutting and gluing up what will be lovely (and highly over-engineered 😂) maple AC vent covers. Btw holy shit I have been listening to WAY too much Meshuggah lately
My 36th year on this rock has easily been my best for specific reasons I choose not to share with our Digital Overlords. It has been full of love and adventure. I am grateful.
Not for all styles! I still love a 57 right up against the grille... But if you’re able to - try a large ribbon further back to let the speaker and enclosure projection develop fully! Mids are softer and more even + the low end attack/decay isn’t as immediate.
