After months of sweat, tears and losing track of the crazy amount of raves I’ve been to, I’m beyond excited to share the documentary I created for my MA final project!🎥✨ This clip captures the essence of my doc, so if you fancy watching the whole thing - the link is in my bio. When I started my MA in Audio-Video Journalism at @unioftheartslondon @lccjournopub I was naive and thought journalism had to be serious - politics, binary, the usual. But somewhere between filming, editing and chasing what truly inspires me, I realised storytelling can be joyful, human and just plain fun. So, I set out to create something universal, something that brings people together rather than divides - something that makes people smile. House music for me, and countless others is magic. It unites people in a way that feels spiritual and even therapeutic. There’s no discrimination or hate on the dance floor - we are all one. It’s not just beats; it’s escape, connection, a chance to let loose and a little reminder that the mundane doesn’t always have to win. Substances aren’t always needed (tho if you fancy it, then go for it - safely ofc!). All you really need is the music and good people around you. So, if you’ve ever raved, or are just curious about what makes it so special, I’d love for you to watch.
