I’m a simple ninja. I haven’t needed a lot since distilling my life to the art of discipline — day by day, strike by strike — and yet I have been blessed with good times, good people, good health, and a good heart. More good things than I can count this last month alone. So many roses turning into bouquets that I can gift to the world. All because I changed my mind that one time to just do damn better.
The takeaway from summer is this: Quiet the mind. You can share your worries with the waters and wind. Nature is your best friend. Pour moonlight into yourself. It is the moon that teaches you the quality of change and how to love yourself and others in phases. You are heaven on earth. Don’t let your mind give you hell, baby.
Thank you to my beautiful friends and fellow ninjas who’ve helped me grow. For the culture. Our futures need us; our pasts don’t.

Way too hype at the @hatsthefilm premiere 🙌🏽 It was so gratifying to see the final cut of this tremendously moving piece I was able to costume design. I worked with an amazing team on this @usccinema film, and each day was inspirational and humbling. It was wonderful working alongside such talented filmmakers and actors. I can’t wait to see what else is in store for us! •
