now that im making a post, i wanna say a few things. first of all, this project is purely what the title says. there's something about danceability in music that i love. whether it be a 4 on the floor kick/snare pattern or energetic vocals. this project aims to do nothing but give you energy to sing, dance, and have a good time, and i really hope it can be received in that way.
additionally, this ep is a checkpoint fir me. an opportunity to look at all the music i've made in the past year and hone in on a certain vibe. this is the music that represents the time in my life between me being a community college student-now working a full time job trying to make the thing i love work. i may not have the highest numbers in the world but man do i have a good crowd of friends scattered across the world that have always supported me and my music (you know who you are)
so what's next?
i'm gonna try new things, be more experimental, see what else im capable of. music is constantly evolving, as am i. there's things i haven't done yet and things i know i want to try. all in a matter of time.
this is starting to get long as hell so i'll leave you with my final thoughts.
if you're feeling sad, stressed, helpless, down in any way, get off your phone turn off the tv go for a drive, blast music, let it speak for you. cuz at the end of the day it's night and you can only do as much as you can.
