Earlier this month was the one-year anniversary of my instagram account as it exists currently, so I thought I’d post the very first 3D animation I’ve ever created, all the way back in 2022 during a Cinema4D workshop (which I then promptly replaced with Blender as soon as it ended). It’s a little overwhelming looking back on it all and seeing just how much I have produced and how rapidly I have evolved over that amount of time. Thanks for the love everyone :)

One method of governmentality is when a government convinces its citizens that the problems they face due to systemic injustices are actually personal problems they can fix themselves through rigorous self-governance. Encouraging the “entrepreneurialisiation” of the self as a project of endless self-improvement, thereby slowly shifting the government’s responsibility to make your life liveable, to you.
This is me airing my grievances over a particular Flemish reality TV program for failing to challenge the hegemonic power imbalance and being a medium of governmentality over a minority group that is already being fiercely marginalised. All while maintaining a facade of being “empowering” and “progressive.
