With my 50th birthday coming up next weekend, my awesome wife suggested a few weeks ago that to celebrate this milestone, I should buy myself a new snare drum, but rather than just picking something, I should get something special.
With that encouragement, I contacted Seppo Salminen who is the master craftsman who runs TRS Custom Drums and commissioned him to build me my dream drum.
