I have always been curious about norms and its omnipresent influence upon all of us in every possible way. Every act we do from waking up, dressing accordingly, using plastic tape to shut our opinions; all repeating and honoring the patterns.
This project is personally for me, as an aspiring photographer, to experience high fashion and commercial shooting with norm conformity as the main theme.
So come along and we’ll together feast on the glam of norms and unveil the price it poses upon those who worship it - us.
The models in this photo series are mostly my student friends and barely have any experience posing in front of the camera; as it is also my first time working with actual models.

how to take a queer photo, ongoing
decided to be a bit more intimate on here, why not. i have been feeling so detached with photography. this ongoing series is my attempt to reconnect with my own values, and also a manifestation of something i have not been able to resolve for the longest time (maybe i never will)

I’ve always struggled with my creative identity. I call myself a pseudo-photographer because it gives me a shell for my unfinished ideas and impulsive after thoughts. With the lunar new year of the Horse, I want to embody the freedom for the movements in my creativity: to steal as much as I can.
There are many art makers and fellow artist friends that I greatly admire. Instead of rejecting influences, I welcome the influences and let myself influence.
