Just wanna thank the academy for this award. A24, you've made my life infinitely brighter since I began devouring your films one by one. I wanna thank my wonderful friends and family for your unwavering support, especially my mom for having me (love you mom) and dad for whom I would not be the person I am without (love you dad). I wanna give an extra special shout out to Brooklyn and Ja'Nyah for helping me bring this vision to life in my parents' basement with a knock-off sunset lamp and some $5 birthday candles. Without you, I might've singed my hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, and inevitably burned the house down (sorry mom, sorry dad).
