✨You Are Not Alone✨ A Community Mental Health Event Saturday, May 16th at Stanwood High School✨ For the last 10 weeks our youth at the CRC have been working alongside some amazing folks to help plan, prep and create the first North County Y.A.N.A event, and we’re bringing some of our very best friends along for the ride💙 NEXT SATURDAY pull up to Stanwood High School to experience an all ages , inclusive mental health event centered around building community and providing supports and resources. Listen to youth voices, hear from professional mental health care providers, eat your fill of McDonalds (yup, McDonald’s is catering:), engage local community groups, and cap it all off with a concert featuring AMPLIFY youth band Rotting Bodies In Delaware & the legendary @mutualstoke 💖!!! HUGE thanks to Megan, Meitra, and Micheal from Snoco Behavioral Health, the CRC, Gus & Eric from Mutual Stoke, and Julia from @bonneyrubble for lifting up our young folks and making this event happen. This is truly a full circle moment. Wendi first got to connected to Eric from Stoke when we took our youth to the @veraproject to catch our besties @black.ends 🖤 Eric took the time to chat with Wendi and the influence both members of Stoke have had a these two young folks, as well as the rest of our community is plain to see💖 The fact that Wendi is now in a two piece punk band with Ben and get to record and release music inspired by Stoke, WITH Stoke is flat out amazing. Full of gratitude for everyone involved with this project, and our friends Karoshi and Grave Neighbors for pulling up and sharing this event with us💖 Whether this would be your first time going to a DIY gig in Stanwood or your tenth, you are welcome here and there is a place for you. What a year 2025 was for AMPLIFY!!! 7 DIY Stanwood shows✨ Amplify Showcase at NW Folklife✨ 1 DIY Music Festival Centered Around Accessibility, Community, & Belonging✨ 9 Youth Bands✨ 13 Visiting Seattle Bands✨ 5 Photographers Capturing Every Moment✨ 1 Dedicated Crew Of Guests & Volunteers helping make it all happen✨ 2 Staff Crazy Enough To Try & Pull This All Off✨ AMPLIFY is a strengths based program that connects teens with the power of music and art through a social-emotional lens. Youth form bands, write, record, and perform their own music as well as work within various styles of art while being connected to local musicians and makers. It is wholly and completely inspired by the youth we serve, and it is one of the greatest adventures I have ever been on🙏🏻✨ I never could have imagined we’d be where we are at alongside so many people we look up to and are proud to call friends. Thank YOU for being along for the ride. It is also just one of the many things we do in our afterschool teen program at the CRC✨ We believe in JOY as an act of resistance. We believe that we are stronger together. We believe in the power of service & gratitude. We believe that music, making & art build bridges. We believe there is HOPE for a better tomorrow. We also wholeheartedly believe that we could not do this without the circle of support we have from the Seattle Music Community. The shows we host give our teens a chance to interact with heroes and local legends we all look up to admire. I can not emphasize enough how much that means to all of us. 12/13/2025 A night to remember💖✨ This show felt like a homecoming. Ridiculously greatful to our CRC AMPLIFY family for coming out after the tail end of a crazy weather week to celebrate community & joy through music in what ended up being some of the most inspiring performances our AMPLIFY teens have had to date with our best friends @mutualstoke @pinksteammusic & @torch_the_band 💖✨ Life is a wild ride, not sure how I got to end up in such a beautiful, creative, inclusive community but I am here for it and filled with gratitude for friends Mutual Stoke, Torch & Pink Steam and all of our AMPLIFY teens and friends we got to make in 2026!!! These young folks spent hours in the studio writing and rehearsing, screenprinting, designing, zine folding, fliering, all while helping out in our CHANGEMAKERS projects and balancing school and other life commitments. They are driven, and push me to keep climbing as well. Give them their flowers, they deserve it💐✨ MUCH LOVE TO GUS, ERIC, JADE, NIC, BRAD, WES, CHRIS, ZAC, DANIEL, & LAIN!!!
