Not every project makes the news. This one did... May and June 2014 brought us back to working alongside Adam Dadswell and Martin Green , providing Animation for The Tour De France 2014. A collaboration built on an existing working relationship and a shared understanding of what large scale screen delivery requires. Martin Green was Creative Director for the Team Presentation for the Tour de France, with Adam taking the software producer seat. The brief was ambitious with a stage designed by Ala Lloyd, incorporating a 32x9 metre main screen with two curved rows of MiStrip LEDs running along the length underneath. Leeds based film house, @sodiumfilms , handled the shooting and editing of the vox pops and live action sections, leaving the team intros and stings to Mutual Vision (Previously JSCGI). The technical challenge came from the MiStrips and the main screen sitting approximately three metres apart. Running a single set of visuals across both created severe parallaxing issues, identified and resolved during testing at CT London before it became a problem on site. The solution was two layered visuals using z depth to render separate foreground and background sequences. It matched up cleanly on site and worked exactly as intended. A pre-vis was used throughout production to demonstrate the interaction to the wider team, keeping everyone aligned before anything was committed to. The show was broadcast live on ITV4 and was well received in the press following the event. Most people watch Eurovision. We've worked it. For Eurovision 2022, @weareblackskull were creative directors for a number of performances and brought Mutual Vision in to assist with two of them — Cyprus and the United Kingdom. The Cyprus entry involved projection mapping onto the stage for Andromache's performance. Although the act did not make the final, the semi final performance showcased the projection work in full. For the United Kingdom, Sam Ryder went through to the Grand Final with Space Man, finishing in second place behind the Ukraine entry. Black Skull created an elegant LED integrated sculpture for the performance and the content, though considered in its approach, was effective in the room. A year later, Black Skull returned as creative directors for the whole of Eurovision 2023, taking on the full event alongside their responsibilities for individual performances. We came back alongside them to assist with the Australian entry by Voyager. Their performance of Promise took them through to the Grand Final, finishing in ninth place. Footage courtesy of BBC

What does it take to broadcast a nine hour charity ball at Grosvenor House? Returning to the Grosvenor Great Room for a third consecutive year to deliver all video services to the site for Ten Music & Productions in partnership with Statom’s in-house team. The event, an annual charity ball, brought together an exceptional evening hosted by the Statom Group at Grosvenor House. As Tyson Fury and Craig David headed to the stage, six months of preparation and hard work was displayed into the early hours of the morning. We entered this project in pre-production, brought in alongside Ten Music & Productions to support the on-the-ground delivery of all event video at one of London's most prestigious venues. Our returning presence was a reflection of our reputation in live event broadcasting and managing the complexities it demands. For the broadcast, we supplied the camera, playback and TX crew and with the help of our partners @thepsc.tech 's engineers and full systems needed to run the 9 hour record. It was key we delivered discreetly with striking close-ups using the 50-1000mm Canon broadcast zoom, allowing focused support at all times. What does a complete (post) production partner actually look like? Makers came to us with a clear objective and the creative vision to match. What they needed wasn't just a post production resource, they needed a complete partner. We like to believe we were nothing short of that. Coming on board at pre-production meant we weren't starting from scratch when post production began. We worked through assets and logistics from the outset, so that everything needed further down the line was already in place. That early involvement made the difference when it mattered. From there we carried the project handling editing, animation, colour grading and audio, whilst the producers at Makers kept the steer. As with our North American Clients, the international dimension of the project worked to everyone's advantage. With time-zones in play, we structured our workflow to keep the pipeline moving around the clock, ensuring delivery wasn't compromised by geography or the working day ending somewhere else in the world. Progress was continuous, turnaround was faster and delivery landed ahead of where it might have with a single-territory setup. What does it take to turn a manor house into a Christmas story? We joined with Yes Events to produce a Christmas themed projection for the 2023 & 2024 Christmas at Waddesdon event. Working alongside the team at Waddesdon Manor over several months, the creative direction was built around storytelling. This was centred on three classic books: Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan and The Snow Queen. Alongside the literary theme, the brief also called for elements of the manor's history and its collection to be incorporated throughout. Full details of this case study on our website very soon. We know Agencies/Producers can't always control the changes that come through, when they occur, or how inconvenient they may be! That's why we always try to act as the "helping hand" through these times. Providing the strongest solutions possible within deadlines and budgets. Production is a forever changing landscape which we pride ourselves in adapting to and exploring with our clients. Working with production partners that truly understand the depths of production challenges and complexities, can relieve most of the anxieties around video production.

As we begin to take a dive into some of our industry insights, we will also take it as an opportunity to share a recent project we undertook for MontBlanc. @Chrous_agency invited us onboard 'The Journey' with them to help deliver their concept and design. We were tasked to deliver the animation component of the yearly toolkit for MontBlanc. Utilising @sebarnolddesign 's beautiful illustration, our animation department brought the short video to life for our contribution to the piece.

#Supercharged2025 - @G42ai Delivering to a screen over 34K pixels wide is always going to be a complex task… Yet, we didn’t allow that to cause an issue. The team at Mutual Vision worked tirelessly for 6 weeks to ensure the safe delivery of powerful creative content over 8 screens. Technically, this job posed the challenge of a canvas larger than what is possible to natively create through top industry software. Our technical expertise on this project stopped this from conflicting with timelines and kept creative limitations to a minimum. This is how we bring the Mutual Vision to life. Breaking conventional industry boundaries, delivering under pressure, with no compromise to the production. Collaboration across the supply chain is vital to any project… 🔐 …if you want to unlock its true potential. Mutual Vision is dependent on our key collaborators. They work for us due to their individual skillsets, the skills that go on to form our toolbox we need to create our product. This is why we don’t keep it a secret that we know some very talented people, as who would want to undertake a production with the wrong tools for the job? 🏷️ Our collaboration in projects extends to provide full support - technically and creatively. Whether it is in MV branding, or under a “White Label”, we integrate ourselves into the production unit. The blend of creativity and technical ability is vital to the delivery of our services. ✔️ We have been known previously to be highly dependable especially when your delivery format exceeds the ordinary. Whilst producing content for some of the largest and most complex displays, technical expertise are required. This ensures the safe and successful integration of the content into its environment. A key step many companies don’t understand. 📌 We translate this technical knowledge into understandable information to allow all members of the chain to comprehend what we do. Allowing a collaborative effort throughout the chain to create showstopping content. 💡 Let’s not forget “Creativity”. It is a two-way street between technical and creative throughout our projects. At MV, we pride ourselves on creating the relationship between the two aspects. Ensuring the technical challenges are factored into our artistic vision. Content relies on creativity to be truly captivating.

Welcome to Mutual Vision. 🏠 Not only is this the new home for @conor.shiels & @jscgi , this is also where our team get the recognition they deserve. We are privileged to collaborate with at least 20 individuals every year to enable us to deliver our works across the plethora of sectors we are involved in. Though Jamie and Conor remain the driving forces behind these projects, we desired a more fitting brand to convey the Mutual Vision required by our team to deliver. 📈 It was time for us to grow. @jscgi has grown astronomically since it's foundation in 2011. As well as still providing the usual Animation and Projection Mapping Expertise, we now offer Filming, Editing, Colour Grading, Still image manipulation, Producing, Directing, Art Direction and more. Growth is a key part of this step and one we wish to embrace and celebrate publicly. 📺 Our product is also a part of this growth. In the past few years we have developed our outputs and been fortunate enough to have exponentially expanded the number of deliverables we produce annually. We have ensured the quality of these products has only grown with us and pledge to continue this into the future. 🔮 Notice a service we provide that you are yet to use us for? Call, email or message us and we will provide you with any details you require, we will also update you on our new project rates, beneficial to any project requiring full Video Production across a variety of skill sets.
