In this video, I’m taking you along for a dive that turned into a little teamwork adventure. The other night, while I was out looking for lobster, I spotted a kayaker struggling to free his hoop net from the rocks. He needed a hand, so I swam down about 45-50 feet to help out. Not only did we get his trap unstuck, but I got to admire the abundance of marine life, lobster, a big sculpin, and the beautiful structure down there.
It was a great reminder that working together with our fellow ocean enthusiasts, like kayakers and hoop netters, makes the whole experience better for everyone. They’re like our guardian angels on the surface, keeping boats away and being there if we need a hand.
If this sounds like the kind of experience you’d love to be part of, I’m also running lobster diving classes and freediving courses. Come out and learn some safety tips and see how we can all be cooperative members of the diving community. Let’s dive in and enjoy the ocean together!
