THOWBACK TUESDAY
A month ago COEXIST AND REMAIN, This amazing art exhibit during CDMX ART WEEK. @lili.casillas so lucky to work with you in this project !! and all the amazing artists who worked with us!
Coexist and Remain proposes a reflection on the possibility of inhabiting the same space through different languages without canceling one another out.
Within an urban context such as the Condesa neighborhood—marked by layers of history, transformation, and coexistence—the exhibition brings together sixteen artists working in photography, painting, and design, whose practices engage in dialogue through difference, materiality, and shared experience.
The title suggests a double action: to coexist and to remain. Coexisting implies recognizing the other, accepting friction, intersection, and the superimposition of viewpoints. Remaining, by contrast, suggests resistance, memory, and presence over time. The works gathered in this exhibition are situated precisely within that threshold, where the contemporary is defined not by homogeneity, but by the ability to sustain multiple discourses simultaneously.
This exhibition is conceived as a spatial experience rather than a mere sum of objects. The gallery, true to its nomadic vocation, understands the exhibition space as an active agent that articulates relationships between artwork, architecture, and viewer. In this sense, the exhibition unfolds as a collective essay: each piece maintains its autonomy, yet finds its fullest meaning through dialogue with the others.
Gratitude to @revistaambientes for carrying NEPANTLA beyond its physical threshold.
Their feature captures the echo of the space — its silence, its pulse, its in-betweenness.

Fragments from NEPANTLA — where light, material, and emotion intertwine.
Every surface holds a story, every detail a dialogue between nature, craft, and time.
