We visited budapest. Reminds me of pittsburgh a little, except the incline goes to a castle. Dodolle is a very good dumpling. Langos is a great fried bread with sour cream and cheese. #dödölle #paprika #langos
Vist to hungarian agriculture museum. Highlights include old photos of cucumber market, wheel hoeing, and trelliesing grapes into giant cones. Also visited a few of their indoor markets in budapest, its like a unheated mall with produce, meat, cheese, mushroom and pickle stands, hot food, and someone selling candy bars and coke. I didnt leave hungry.
Persimmons! We planted these four years ago. This is going to be our first crop. Bred by ukrainian scientists, cold hardy dwarfing persimmon. Works so far in zone 6B. Not quite ripe yet. This one is going to be mushy fruit when ripe. First fruit i tasted reminds me a lot of the native american one, but twice the size. Cant wait to make cake!
