✨Facebook tells me that 16 years ago today I struck out into the world as an entrepreneur. What a journey. I’ve done a lot of different stuff, in a lot of different roles. In two different countries. All I can say is this: earn the trust of artists, clients & colleagues. Do what you say you’re going to do. Support dreams, and yet be a realist. It’s taken me over 15 years in this business and I am still learning. Still finding purpose. Still finding out more about what drives me. At the end of the day, it’s about songs. The songwriter. The artist. Helping those stories be told and being an advocate for the people that bring us these songs that shape the soundtracks to our lives. What a privilege!
Things rarely come easy in this business and that’s okay. Earning the big stuff is so much sweeter. I am so grateful that I get to do what I love with a lot of people I have such respect for. You never know what the next day holds in this business - both exciting and terrifying. I still chose excitement and passion for this crazy ride. ✨🖤
