Haven’t had much time to be a human lately. My deeply cherished ways of tending to myself, the things we have taught nearly 80ppl in our Muse Ancestral Wellness Course, the things I learned and used to heal myself over the years are nearly impossible now on month 8 of travel. The days of deep yoga, hiking, cooking my own meals, fasting, PLAY(trouble), finding a place to be naked in the sun, getting under water, a messy home tea as medicine practice has been replaced with back to back Late Night Tea events, private tea events, designing custom tea table and ceramics in impossible timelines. producing a campaign created from one of my best friends fever dream, getting used to the new place every week or month, managing a business and working FULL-TIME freelance. Lots and lots of screens and my brain at max capacity all the time.
That’s why I needed a day, walking around NYC with friends, stopping into tea houses, meals in between experiencing their rituals, learning from their deep knowledge and getting to know what I truly enjoy at this phase of life.
So far the answer is
@sorate.co ‘s hojicha in an aged clay pot with red bean wagashi
I didn’t have a tea community in Atlanta, or anywhere else I’ve been. NYC is a different story.
Thanks for coming to

I think NY is becoming part of what home feels like. Thank you to everyone one of you who’ve made NY feel like home from day one. Especially that guy who paid for my subway ticket bc I couldn’t figure it out fast enough.
