They say the script is where the magic begins, but it takes a community of brilliant people to bring it to life. Seeing The Yard being nominated for Best Series (Scripted) and Best M-Net Original (Scripted), along with Mother of the Brides also being recognized for Best M-Net Original (Scripted), is such a validation of our craft. To my brilliant story editors @oyiza_kokori @emyjosephs and script editor @oi_ayodeji : thank you for the late nights, the endless brainstorming, and for trusting the vision. To our amazing producers @jamesomokwe @rogbathebaron @biolabelle @charlesobiemere your dedication brought words to life in ways I could only dream of. A special shout-out to the phenomenal Mai Sisi @gloriaanozieyoung for her Best Leading Actress nomination, and the talented Oga Joe @sinmileoluwa for his Best Supporting Actor nomination. You both embodied these characters with such grace and power. To the Cast and Crew, too numerous to mention, this belongs to all of us. Let’s celebrate this moment; we earned it!

One rejects privilege, and the other fights to rise from nothing. Their alliance is built on justice - but in The Yard, can true change ever be achieved? #AMTheYard premieres March 31st on #AMShowcase!

Repost from @filmoneng • FilmOne Entertainment and Leon Global Media are teaming up to reboot OWO BLOW (1996), a legacy left behind by Wale Fanu. This collaboration between both production companies is a union that has been a long time coming. This dramatic and highly emotional, action-thriller shines the spotlight on the social issues, and often misguided powers responsible for the vanishing middle class in Nigeria. These same themes are what made the original film an instant classic and remain relevant today. This story is written by Daniel Ademinokan and Musa Jeffery. Helmed by director Daniel Ademinokan, OWO BLOW, will be in cinemas in 2023 Tags: @leonglobalmedia @dabishop007 @musajefferydavid
