Jade Dureus’ Heritage Pants and Ella Weng’s Maya have been selected as finalists for PS Art and will be exhibited at the MET!
Out of over 1,100 submitted works, their pieces truly stood out. Congratulations to these incredible young artists and their dedicated teachers on this amazing achievement!

Foundation Art students explored the beautiful grounds of Greenwood Cemetery for a day of drawing from observation and reflection. ✏️🌿 Students practiced capturing balance and perspective through their sketches — and also wrote secret letters as part of a project about art and letting go. 💌✨

Support the arts and get a custom pet portrait created by one of our talented student or faculty artists. Proceeds will go towards the Murrow Art Institute.
Ugh I can’t even put it into words. My mentor, homie, best supporter @carlos__rosado retired after 35 years and I was a MESS this week bc I knew he was leaving. Carlos painted this portrait of me 13 years ago and gave it to me on his last day. I wrote my masters thesis on him and @spykontarinis …The end of an era and happy for him but dang, I am going to miss him so much 🥀 HUG A TEACHER

HUGE news for Senior students Felix Berkower and Ella Kenny!! Each student has been awarded $1,000 for their work by P.S. Art :) In addition, their work will be hung in The Metropolitan Museum of Art and a ceremony will take place on June 10th.
