π Introducing BJK's Eggs Benedict π
Friday's are for celebrating. To punctuate the end of a productive week and beginning of a weekend full of your favourite things, we thought we'd offer something decadent.
Two perfectly soft eggs sit atop double-smoked, shaved leg ham and fluffy toasted English muffins, then generously covered with glossy, tarragon hollandaise. $25 for this plate of joy or $30 with a glass of our Continental Platter Prosecco.
Et voila, a perfect breakfast, brunch or something in between.
Featuring every Friday, All Day, until we say so.

Da ieri sera, che bello!!!
Thanks to everyone that stopped by for fun wines and some beautiful food last night.
Some highlights for us were the stunning crudites using incredible @ramarrofarm vegetables (wow!) and moreish bagna cauda made by @murphyjmurphy .
Favourite wine on the night was definitely the juicy, vibrant 2022 Montepulciano by Di Cato AnimErranti from Abruzzo. Unexpectedly light yet still rich.
We'll have a few of Giorgio's wines on the menu from this week ready for Summer.
Grazie mille to the magical @giorgio_de_maria for charming our dining room, what a joy.

π Tuna 'Nduja Melt π
Our housemade tuna ragu, with a healthy amount of cheese, just the right amount of 'nduja, capers & parsley. Grilled until golden, spiked with guindillas and served with a cheek of lemon.
It's delicious, comforting and here all week. Yum.

π A Very Special Dinner π
Beautiful ones, thank you for sharing your Saturday evening with us at our first BJK dinner.
We were enthralled by the stunning Spring menu curated by @tom_ed_baker that really shone the magic and brilliance of this season's produce.
A special hurrah to our producers @ramarrofarm and @natoora_melbourne for just the very best from their farms always.
It was an absolute privilege to have @campbellburtonwines in the dining room with us to share an exceptional list of wines. He is unrivalled in knowledge, passion and energy.
Evenings at BJK are really special. The light changes the space into something dreamlike and ethereal, the balloons suspend with a transformed sense of hope and expectation, and the night sky reflects in the windows.
We can't wait for our next one on the 29th of November! Details to follow.

Some noteworthy news to share. Priyam and I are excited to let you know that our new restaurant, Beautiful Jim Key, will be opening in Brunswick in August. Welcoming you for breakfast, lunch, occasional dinners and everything in between. Itβs an idea thatβs been in the making for some time and itβs really nice to see it coming to life with plenty of light and colour. Look forward to seeing you there - JM.
