With the dust now settled on Nightlight Lullabies, weâre taking a moment to reflect on the scale and impact of the project.
- 21 hearing mothers created A Lullaby for Derby, recorded in both audio and British Sign Language.
- 41 students and parents who are deaf developed The Signing Mother, A Visual Vernacular For Derby film.
- 6096 Visitors to our exhibition at Derby Museum and Art Gallery.
- 16 young people who are deaf and 10 museum volunteers trained as video and oral historians, recognising that their own stories are heritage â and worth preserving.
- 75,000 Total views, plays, and interactions across social media with our work.
Thank you to everyone who gave their time, care and creativity to be part of this important project.
