I published a comic book! Finally, a childhood dream of mine is coming true thanks to @heroicsignatures and @titancomics . Not only that, but it happens to be for the freaking SAVAGE SWORD OF CONAN series. My buddy @enriquesaurusrex and I were asked to write and draw a short story based on our beloved Solomon Kane and you can now read it on the latest issue of The Savage Sword of Conan #13 in your local comic shop (in the US) or online on the Titanbooks website. I am delighted to read the reviews and I pray to Crom I can keep coming back to draw Solomon for years to come.

It's finally been announced that my buddy @enriquesaurusrex and I will be part of the next issue of Savage Sword of Conan #13! It will include this cover plus a short, 12 page original story drawn by yours truly and written by Enrique. This is my first ever step into the comic book industry proper and I couldn't be happier that I get to take that step, not only with one of my best friends, but paying tribute to Solomon Kane, a character we have loved for decades. It comes out in March in the US!

Round two finished! Two weeks on non stop working and travelling to get our little film in front of people. We managed to show it to amazing people at Disney, Netflix, Dreamworks and Laika! What an incredible privilege it is to walk into these animation TEMPLES that have inspired me for so many years to show our film. Thank you to everyone that came and thank you specially to @valamador@jeremy_schaef Javier Hernaez, @thatdanstevens and @pastordegatos2001 for hosting the QA's! Without you this would have been a much scarier process. @raul.rocharegueras@bazacojorge you guys were the perfect team mates.

Directed by James A. Castillo, THE QUINTA’s GHOST is an animated horror short film based on the last years of Francisco de Goya’s life when, isolated in his newly acquired country house he spent his days and nights creating the now infamous Black paintings in its walls.
The Quinta’s Ghost has been shortlisted for the 98th Academy Awards for Best Animated Short Film. Oscar nomination voting closes Friday, January 16 at 5PM PST.

As Oscar nomination voting opens, the director explains how subtle camera movement, lighting, and performance capture the moment when memory and trauma overtake one of Spain's greatest painters.
