Our horror animation short film has been selected for the Official Short Film Competition at @annecyfestival 2026 💫
Annecy is the world’s leading animation festival, and it’s an incredible honor for us to share this story with the international animation community ✍️🎨
This June, The Quinta’s Ghost will arrive to Annecy to continue bringing to life the story of Francisco de Goya and his Black Paintings.
We’ll never stop thanking to the entire team who made this project possible… and to everyone who continues to support us on this journey.

Annecy es el mayor festival de animación del mundo, y para nosotros es un honor inmenso poder compartir esta historia con la comunidad internacional de la animación ✍️🎨
En junio, El Fantasma de la Quinta llegará a Annecy para seguir dando vida a la historia de Francisco de Goya y sus Pinturas Negras.

This Making Of is much more than a “behind the scenes.” It’s the result of the talent, dedication, and passion of an incredible team who brought to life one of the most fascinating creative processes in our history: Goya’s Black Paintings 🖤🖌️

The Quintas Ghost made it to the Academy's shortlist! I cant believe that, among more than 100 films, ours managed to find an audience and float to the too. We want to thank the @theacademy and all its members for selecting our film.
We also want to mention the other 14 films that have been selected. All of them brilliant and innovating. We are so humbled to be among such works of art. Its going to be a long way until Jan 22nd, but I hope you come for the ride and champion our efforts towards the nomination.
So proud of all of our crew! @superpkt , @donjulio_xd this journey would not have started without you. @illusorium Thanks for being the perfect partners ani director could ask for. You guys are the absolute best!!

Every great story begins long before it reaches the screen.
The masterclass “Owning the Story” brought @raul.rocharegueras , co-founder and CEO of @illusorium , to @animayofestival Gran Canaria 2026 for a session dedicated to narrative construction, creative direction and the importance of developing a personal vision within the audiovisual industry.
Through his experience on projects such as “Secret Level”, attendees gained insight into the processes that make it possible to transform an idea into a story with identity, emotion and visual power.
A masterclass to understand how creativity, narrative strategy and artistic vision come together to shape worlds capable of connecting with audiences.

@davidfernandezalmagro del equipo de CFX, explicaba así como ha sido crecer dentro de @illusorium : desde los nervios de sus primeros proyectos 😅 hasta sentarse con grandes directores 🎥 y descubrir que, al final, todo va de personas, pasión ❤️ y alguna que otra risa por el camino.
Detrás de cada frame hay una historia y también un camino que seguir 🚀

‼️Hace unas semanas pudimos formar parte de la Industry Week de @voxelschool donde pudimos hablar más en detalle de El Fantasma de la Quinta.
@donjulio_xd@raul.rocharegueras y @superpkt resolvieron cuestiones sobre la documentación para desarrollar la historia, la coordinación de equipos para sacar adelante el proyecto o las soluciones técnicas que se encontraron para dar ese estilo visual único del corto 🤝
La utilización de herramientas VR junto al talento de Joaquín Martínez fueron imprescindibles para obtener el balance entre pintura y animación 🖌️
