In today’s social media era, where the racing scene often makes it look easier than it really is, it isn’t.
For nearly a year, I’ve watched the comments and debates surrounding this car and S550s in general. Many have claimed there’s no way it could ever run 2-second roll street passes, that only the Viper platform could achieve it. I even a few times myself said “ain’t no s550 in the 2s” in those comments, trolling lol, I lay that to rest, we’ve done it several times now 😂
I’ve been holding this as a racer that likes to race but as a business owner and a fan of the sport, someone who continues to push the platform I believe it’s time to show the world exactly who holds the 👑 in “unprepped” S550 roll racing and what the platform can do.
The difference between the car than and now is how consistent the car has gotten, anyone with RWD car going low 3s knows the struggles. Whats even more impressive is that it has been accomplished purely through suspension changes and with limited data. I’ve been hoping Motec would do something for the 10R but I don’t see that coming in the foreseeable future. (Big mistake IMO)
I can assure there is currently no other S550 that comes close to this unprepped surface especially on a stock ECU where No TC is available, the platform has been out for 11years or longer now. (Prove me wrong!) If someone wants to do this we have the perfected the formula and can replicate it.
Now, I’d like to give the people something new to discuss: Is the much more expensive Viper still the undisputed RWD street king? And more importantly-can we beat, the overall street RWD record? Or has it been already broken? Argue in the comments 😂
