Leila was written in a fit of love and sadness, and is the song that inspired the whole EP.
Emerald penned the song after their housemate and platonic husband Leila left Gadigal Land to go back to England. it’s the sound of longing and loving, of knowing someone you love will come back to you, when the time is right.
