We just learned that LIFE AFTER has been nominated for FOUR News & Documentary Emmys! We’re so proud of our whole team, especially director @reidjdavenport and editor @donjbernier whose vision and skill these nominations honor in particular. Thank you to the collaborators, funders, movement partners, and participants who helped us bring this film to fruition, and the audiences who have told us this film changed their minds, fueled them to fight harder, or made them feel less alone.

Big news from Multitude Films 🌟 Founder and President Jess Devaney will be transitioning out of their role as President in June 2026, and Co-Founder Anya Rous will step into the role. From retaining key rights, to centering accessibility, to experimenting with direct distribution, we share stories from @lifeafter.film ’s 16-month distribution campaign, including transparent data and learnings to help all film teams adapt and apply new methodologies for their own work. Written by @colleencassing on behalf of the film team, this case study was made possible by a grant from Distribution Advocates’ Film-ADE Fund to collapse traditional release windows into a custom distribution strategy centering accessibility and impact.
