Huts Grit
A multi-media installation for the ‘Sense of Urgency’ residency back in November 2024.
The grit bin sculpture and accompanying film were created in just one week.
For the exhibition we wanted to combine our love for riding BMX with the shared passion for conventional sculpture. A grit bin that can also be a comfy seat as well as a rideable object seemed like the obvious answer.
The grit bin is often featured in many films within the BMX community. With that in mind we decided to take the sculpture around the city of Glasgow to create a film to showcase its multifunctional qualities.

I had the pleasure of splitting a part with my boy @isonbigocean . We had fun filming for this section whilst out in Texas. Some wins and some loses but you’ve just got to ‘Enjoy the Inbetween’ baybeee!!
