Cat’s out the bag! Gnash presents ‘A Rose is a Rose and is Not a Rose’, an exhibition bringing together a selection of artists who are currently exploring humour and what it means in their work.
Drawing from ideas found in psychology, philosophy and phenomenology, ‘A Rose is a Rose and is Not a Rose’ explores the role that semiotics, language and temporality play in shaping our experience of amusement, and invites audiences to move towards an artistic and critical understanding of humour and laughter.
