The talented @claudiapearsondesign just launched a collaboration with @highlinenyc and @highlineshopnyc . This project aligns so well with Claudia’s love and devotion to nature and her surroundings.
Claudia spent time in three of the High Line’s most distinctive landscapes: Chelsea Grassland, Wildflower Field, and Washington Grassland. She studied the plants, butterflies, moths, and birds in each area and translated them into original surface designs now available at the High Line Shop.

Some clients will cost you more than they pay you.
Not because you did bad work. Because you said yes before you had enough information.
Three red flags that would have saved us months: 1. “Use your imagination. No guidelines, no brief, just go for it.” That’s not creative freedom. That’s a client who hasn’t done the work of knowing what they want. 2. You send a detailed, professional response with questions. They go quiet. A client who ghosts a good question has already told you something. 3. They say they have a healthy budget without being specific. We waited months to find out our minimum of $75,000 for a character mascot was met with “if it was a thousand dollars I could make it happen.”
The budget conversation should happen on day one. Not month three.
