Back when I was taking a two hour bus ride to San José in high school, I used coins.
When I took @gocaltrain from San José to San Francisco, I waited in line for a ticket.
Today, I hopped on a @scvta light rail in Downtown San José, just tapped my credit card and was taken directly to @levisstadium in 20 minutes.
Clipper 2.0 ironically means no clipper card required — just in time for the big games in 2026! Residents and visitors can use their credit cards, even their apple wallet, to get on all Bay Area transit systems.
It’s never been quicker or more convenient to head to Levi’s, @paypalpark , @sapcenter , or wherever you choose to spend your time in San José.

Today San Francisco Bay Ferry welcomed a new vessel to their fleet — the Zalophus! This is the cleanest diesel ferry in the world, and it will be the last as SF Bay Ferry sets their sights on electric and battery operated ferries in the future. San Francisco is where transportation innovation is born!
Zalophus is the scientific name for sea lion, so it was fitting to have @sfgiants own Lou Seal join the christening, performed with aplomb by Chief of Infrastructure, Climate, and Mobility Alicia John-Baptiste of Mayor @danielluriesf ’s office 🍾
We are finally at the point of the project where we get to select colors and finishes for the West Oakland Link (WOL).
The WOL of the Bay Skyway is a 1.25 mi proposed elevated pedestrian and bicycle pathway that will connect Mandela Parkway in West Oakland with the existing East Span path of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge using a pathway along the south side of West Grand Avenue.
This project aims to stand out amongst the industrial landscape by selecting a project color that celebrates West Oakland.
Run don’t walk to the survey in our bio today!
