While we post up all our favorite pictures of @poshwoods in its memory this has to be my top favorite with the sun coming up over the trails, sadly in all my years there I can only count on 1 hand how many times I had an early morning session there, there was always something so peaceful about being there early in the morning hearing the birds chirping and the crickets still going, it’s one thing I wish I did more of while I was there. But nonetheless every session I always left with off the charts excitement and would lay awake at night just eager for the next.
Got my copy of the @poshwoods book!🔥🎉 huge thank you to @jbonebmx and @doleckivisuals , posh really was sacred holy ground for BMX trails. May sound cliche but I’d compare it to a baseball fan or player visiting the old Yankee stadium, everyone had to experience it at least once in their lifetime, It always made our day any time we’d see someone roll through for the first time and just be mind blown and have a smile ear to ear in excitement. Thank you to all who made posh what it was and who helped maintain it over the years as well as all our visitors that came through! #letsgetreading📚
Today marks 1 year since we lost posh, posh was the biggest part of my life for 13 years and was truly the most amazing era for me hands down as far as BMX goes, though BMX will always be my greatest thrill and passion it truly will NOT be the same without posh, posh was more than just a place for me to ride and dig at. It was a place for me to socialize, meet new friends, make lifelong friends, and just be my escape from reality and escape from any daily life struggles I might’ve been dealing with whether it was a job, anxiety or whatever else. It was my place of peace and my safe zone. I have so many amazing memories of that place that I can’t just single out any one particular moment. So I just put together a bunch of clips and pics that I thought came out amazing! Thank you to all who helped maintain and build that place from the beginning all the way up till the end and for being such an influential part of my life!🤝🤘. Update, Eye is swollen a bit, headaches have been subsiding and less intense. Was able to do some stretching this morning. I didn’t wake up confused or dizzy. I definitely still feel foggy though. My work said just chill this week. Mom Dad and Rebecca are taking real good care of me, I remember everything from yesterday except the crash itself. Thanks @jeremybirdman and @birdgirls_610 for carrying me up to the seating area and getting me medical attention, I had no clue I was but apparently bugged out pretty bad and didn’t wanna go get looked at but thanks guys for being my guardian angels and voice of reason❤️🙏
I’m definitely gonna miss hitting chill/50’s so damn much, I always loved in-visioning myself as @nightwolfslc Mike Aitken going through those hips and big sets at the bottom trying to go as high as I can!. Thanks to @twlyons for the pic
