Very excited to share that I am making a film with one of my dearest friends and indie starlet @msrobinsun this month. The film is about a woman who loses her phone… and then loses her mind. The film explores the blurred line between reality and the subconscious in the aftermath of grief.
While the project is influenced by films like REPULSION, PERSONA, and BLACK SWAN, I have always been unsatisfied with the central conflicts displayed in these classic works: antagonistic, psychological battles between women. I wondered: Is it possible to make a haunting and surreal film that mirrors female relationships in a more satisfying light? This was where the story of LOST IT began to take form.
But what I am most excited about is the wonderful team that I am bringing together, members of our LA community.
