Lots of gratitude as we wrap up our 30th season! What a fantastic spring, from FINDING LIGHT with the inspiring, electric, and kind @lyonhazzard , to a special small group of 3rd through 12th graders guesting as the RAGAZZI with Lewis and Clark for Carmina Burana, to our final concert this Saturday, MAY 18 at 2 pm for our secondary grades and 4:30 for our primary grades. It was my honor to work with Oregon high schoolers singers on their choral leadership skills and sight reading training on October 13! 70 of us worked on strategies to lead, read and perform at first sight, featuring “true bangers” such as Sumer is Icumen in to hits from Palestrina, Bach, Monteverdi, Mozart, Beethoven, and Bruckner! Such a great day I forgot to take any other pictures. Much love to all these choral leaders from across the state and their epic directors who are demonstrating lifelong learning.
