This year CHALLENGED my path as a journalist. My old boss told me I was “punching above my weight class”, my old jealous co-worker actively kept me from doing a good job, and I got laid off. Despite this, God showed me time and time again that I’m destined for greatness no matter what the obstacles are. I landed five celeb interviews this year with powerhouses including Kamie Crawford (@kamiecrawford ), Roy Wood Jr. (@roywoodjr ) and Jidenna (@jidenna ). Going into 2025 unemployed feels gross and uncomfortable, but getting laid off this year was a blessing in disguise. God wouldn’t bring me this far to leave me hanging and I’m excited to see what he has in store for me in the new year🤗 #funemployment #journalism
