17-year-old Seun Ogunsakin just made history — becoming the first Nigerian player in DECADES to compete in the Roland Garros Junior Championships. From Ekiti State to the clay courts of Paris. The kid did not come to play… well, actually he did. And we can’t wait to watch.

Antoine Semenyo is having the season of his life. Born in England to Ghanaian parents, Semenyo lit up the Premier League at Bournemouth before earning a £64 million move to Manchester City in January. He hasn’t slowed down since, 16 goals and 4 assists across 35 appearances, a Carabao Cup winner’s medal, and now a Premier League Player of the Season nomination alongside Haaland, Declan Rice and Bruno Fernandes. The Black Stars winger is representing Ghana on the biggest stage in club football.

Gout reportedly signed an 8-year Adidas contract worth over $6 million that runs all the way to the 2032 Brisbane Olympics. The deal includes performance-based bonuses for world and Olympic success, beat out competing offers from Nike and Puma, and was structured to allow him to stay in Australia and finish his education. On the track, he just broke the World U20 200m record with a time of 19.67s — faster than Usain Bolt at the same age. He’s also the first Australian ever to legally break the 20-second barrier. #goutgout #adidas #afroballers

Gone too soon. The NBA world is mourning today. The Memphis Grizzlies announced the passing of Brandon Clarke at just 29 years old. He spent all seven years of his career in Memphis, acquired as the 21st overall pick in 2019, earned All-Rookie honors in his first season, and became one of the most important defensive pieces the Grizzlies had. 29 is too young. Rest easy, Brandon.

Kiki Iriafen is a walking double double. At this point, I’m excited to see how she will develop this season since the Mysitcs have figured out how to give me more space in the paint to dominate. @kikiiriafen 🇳🇬🇺🇸 #AfroBallers
