Giving the tony award-winning actress and voice of Princess Tiana, Anika Noni Rose @anikaaroundtheworld a medal at this year’s gala is truly beyond a dream come true for me. Being able to connect with someone like myself in the same industry is honestly mind-blowing. Princess Tiana has always been my favorite princess ever since I was little. From playing with the Barbie dolls and watching the movie over and over, to now meeting her in real life it feels unreal. Time really does tell stories words can’t fully explain. If it wasn’t for @figureskatinginharlem , none of this would’ve been possible. They are so much more than just an ice skating program. They help young girls believe in themselves, chase their dreams, and accomplish things they once thought were impossible just like they did for me and so many others. This will be my 4th year attending, and every single year just hits differently. Every year brings new memories, new opportunities, and reminds me how blessed I truly am. Thank you so much for this opportunity and for continuing to believe in me. I feel so grateful and honored, and I truly cannot wait to present her with this award. 🐸👸🏽

Wow shocked, but not surprised. Figure Skating in Harlem has always been a program that truly supports its students and their families. I’ve learned so much through this program, from financial literacy to advocating for what is right, and even had the opportunity to be part of Harlem on Ice with Disney. I am genuinely proud to be part of this organization. My sisters and I always describe Figure Skating in Harlem as our home away from home, and moments like this remind us why. I am truly amazed and grateful for everything this program continues to do. @figureskatinginharlem we are making a difference and I’m proud to be apart of it all.💙💙💙💙

Orientation went amazing and I’m so excited to start the new school year at Professional Performing Arts School! 🎭✨ This is such a big moment for me and I’m ready to stay focused, work hard, and keep believing in myself every step of the way. To anyone out there chasing a dream NEVER let anyone tell you that you can’t do it. Your talent, your voice, and your story matter more than you know. I really have to take the time to show love and respect to the best uncle in the world. You’ve always been there for me no matter the distance, no matter how busy life gets, you always find a way to show up for me and make me feel loved. That means more to me than words could ever explain. Watching you grow, succeed, and become the man you always said you would be inspires me every single day. You didn’t just talk about making a difference you actually did it. Seeing you receive a Commanding Officer’s coin from the Marines made me emotional because I know that kind of honor isn’t just handed out. It’s earned through sacrifice, discipline, loyalty, leadership, and heart. That coin represents the respect people have for you, but to me, it also represents the kind of person you are when nobody is watching. Strong, selfless, dependable, and full of love for the people around you. I’m beyond proud of you and grateful God blessed me with an uncle like you mama’s proud you made it . Had to go full goalie with some fun photos I found in the dump 😂 Went through them and honestly had way too much fun reliving the moments. Definitely was in my rock ’n’ roll mode for sure 🤘 just fully in my comfort zone, being myself, not holding anything back and just enjoying the energy of it all. Spent an amazing time with @curtisandcort and as always it was nothing but good vibes, laughs, and those spontaneous moments that make everything feel fun and real. It was exciting from start to finish, just one of those times where everything clicks and you’re just in the moment, not thinking too much, just living it up 📸🔥Definitely one of those memories that sticks because of how effortless and fun it all felt.💚

Hey family & friends 💚✨ Excuse the social media silence lately life has been moving FAST for McKenzie between auditions,touring,school rehearsals,the gala coming up, and so many exciting things happening behind the scenes. But one thing about us we are ALWAYS going to celebrate every milestone! 🥹👏🏽 So with that being said… DRUMROLL PLEASEEEEE 🥁✨McKenzie has officially been accepted into @ppasnyc Middle School in Hell’s Kitchen!!! 🎭🎉 She is beyond excited, and honestly, we couldn’t be prouder. This past year she has worked incredibly hard, stayed focused, remained disciplined, and continued sharpening her craft at only 10 years old. Watching her dedication, confidence, and growth has been such a beautiful thing to witness. McKenzie prayed for this, manifested this, and truly earned this moment. As her parent, I always remind her Be yourself, the goal isn’t fame it’s living with purpose and making a real difference in the world. Having a cousin only 9 months apart from me is the best ever! Technically she’s older than me, but she’s more like my sister than my cousin.
