When I picked up a camera over 10 years ago, I didnāt know my ancestorās wildest dreams would be this wild. In fact, I didnāt even know how I was going to afford my own dreams cause I couldnāt afford photo equipment... but what I knew was I had a belief in myself, a teacher who believed in me, and resources.
At 26, Iāve been super blessed in this industry but the most important blessing has been love. This feature is a testament to moving with love for what you do, integrity with how you do it, and respect for who you do it for. My motherās faith kept those values alive raising 4 kids after my dadās passing. He never saw me pick up a camera, but I know he sees this right here!!! This is Coming To America manifested.
My parents taught me the importance of putting your head down and doing the work, I want to express gratitude to every person that gave me a chance to work in this industryā now ya girl is in front of the lens!!! ā¤ļø

Made the #ForbesUnder30 list this year šš Thank you @Forbes ! I tried to think of a caption so many times but no arrangement of words sums this up right, itās a career milestone come true. Much respect to all honorees this year for the grind, hustle and flow.
Some traits are intergenerational, and I come from a lineage of yappers, but Iām putting our stories in 4K šŖ.
Happy Motherās Day to those who live for the love of storytelling, and lived to tell their story. Another week at post-production in a labor of love and #MothersDay weekend had me thinking of January capturing my grandmother on film š¬.
In pivoting with purpose, Iām learning patience and practicing death to ego, just like my mama taught me.
