As a dental hygienist, yoga teacher and menopause coach my goal here has always been about holistic health and self care
Healthy mouth, healthy body, healthy mind, healthy soul
It’s all connected. Our health truly is in our hands
We are what we do every day. I’ve learned it’s the simple self care routines that have the biggest impact
I recently asked myself why I feel so strongly about sharing holistic health and self care tips
The answer is this: I want to feel good, strong, happy and healthy every day of my life (I think most people do)
If we take care of our bodies, our bodies will take care of us
We’re gonna get older so why not feel good in the process??
I’m 45 and went through early menopause. I didn’t know what was happening when it was happening but now that I do a lot of things make sense
I know all of the things I do to support my mental, physical and emotional health made this transition easier for me
Not that it was easy. It wasn’t. But I’ve learned the healthier we are, the easier it can be
I’ve also learned that no one prepares us for this!! Every woman will go through menopause
All this to say that my focus has shifted from trying to help everyone, to helping women, especially women over 40 who want to feel their best at EVERY age
Taking a few minutes every day to care for yourself isn’t selfish. It’s essential to your health and well being
I’ll continue to share information and routines around oral health, breath + breathing, yoga + movement, fascia, mindset, menopause and more
Because it’s all necessary for holistic health
And because holistic health is HOW we’re going to feel amazing at every age

As I begin my 46th year I’m doing more:
cardio
strength training
fascia work
balance training
breath work
I don’t love cardio but it’s super fun on the rebounder and great for my lymphatic system, my fascia and my balance
The wrist and ankle weights give me extra resistance 🔥🔥🔥
I focus on breathing in and out through my nose for a strong and healthy respiratory system 🫁
All of this is great for focus and concentration and it’s FUN
I’m doing more of what I enjoy and less of what I don’t
Feeling strong and vibrant every day of my life is what it’s all about!
