4. Sticker books Clara’s nearly done every @usborne_books sticker dolly dressing book there is she loves them
5. Search and find reusable activity cards
Other things, swimming toys the sinking gems & Robo fish provided hours of fun in the pool. A football for Lando he played non-stop with, colour books & pencils, mini travel sized games (guess who, snakes & ladders - which you can get cheapest from @theworksstores )

On the hunt for a new family car, this one definitely ticked a lot of boxes!
My MIL recently got the JAECOO 7 and loves it (and clearly she’s not the only one - being the UK’s fastest-growing car brand in March).
The JAECOO 8 is their biggest and most luxurious SUV yet – super spacious, with 3 rows of seats (perfect for this stage of life when I feel like a full-time taxi driver 🚗).
There are 2 models, the JAECOO 8 SHS-P (Plug in hybrid) which is the 5 + 2 (7 seater) and the JAECOO 8 SHS-P Executive the 4 + 2 (6 seater - the one featured in my video).
It’s got all those thoughtful touches too… panoramic sunroof - the kids would be obsessed, built-in rear window shades: finally 🙌 no temporary ones which are such a faff and the comfiest seats - heated, ventilated AND with a massage function whilst driving.
It drives so smoothly, whether you’re doing the school run or heading off for a longer commute. Plus it’s a Plug-in hybrid, so you’ve got great range for road trips but can also run on electric for everyday driving.
It feels like that perfect balance of space and comfort without feeling like you’re driving a minibus - was super impressed!
It got me thinking when we were away… Somewhere along the way we were made to believe kids need constant stimulation -
more noise, more toys, more everything.
What if the quiet moments are where they actually learn the most… where they notice, imagine and just be?
We had lots of moments like this and I could see and feel they weren’t bored they were just content.
But it felt like my brain was programmed telling me I had quickly get something out to entertain them..
And it really makes you question why we feel so much pressure to fill every second of their lives.
This holiday was the reminder needed that they don’t need entertaining 24/7.
Maybe they just need the space to slow down.. would love to know what you think 🫶
