My creative conversation with
@acid.flwrs began when she invited me to her installation last year. Admired from afar and now in front of each other we had a beautiful chance to get to know each other in a crowded, noisy room.
I filed it in my brain that one day - wouldn’t it be nice to join forces? You never know if it will work out but I had an inkling that never went away that our work would be in sync.
And so the day came and as we stood in front of our work together I don’t think either of us expected how well they would sing in harmony. I remember sighing and we both had to stand there for a minute to let it soak in.
Then to witness
@mrsherborne documenting it with such precision - lighting it so perfectly that the colors from our work pierced the screen. HEAVEN!
It was such a beautiful day - we took care of each other and made sure we captured everything we’d both been dreaming about. I had visions of portraits of Claire that I couldn’t get out of my head and I’m so relieved that they both played along and let it happen.
I cannot wait to work with them again 💖
