On the scout, I’m remoted in. Reunited with old friends: @shadsmelvin (AD, we go way back) and @minka_farthing_kohl (DP, I used to gaff for him). Instant relief knowing the team had it covered while I was locked on another shoot.

@mrdingwall jumped on prep. I finished it out.

The only unnerving part? That robot dog. I’ve only seen the big ones before… this little pug-sized version was next-level creepy.

I remember taking the initial call for this shoot while I was in Mexico. It came in hot, right after we finished rebuilding Studio 11, and I was also tied up with the AICP event.

I prepped all the math for both art and camera so we knew exactly where — and how far — to place the platform, leaving enough space for the softbox while making sure the bottom of the LED wall stayed out of frame.

Measure twice, cut once. I did extra prep on this one since I had to hand the job off to @mrdingwall in order to cover the AICP event. I didn’t realize one of the board members owned @barkbark — but she came up afterwards to thank us. Another happy client.
