This year has taught me the necessity to PRIORITIZE myself! Being better for me will allow me to be better for everyone around me.
I’m looking forward to an active 2026, full of fun, purpose, and joy! See y’all next year!
Scenario: Student had expressed how she was causing redness and scarring on her client’s neck because of her being heavy handed. After observing her being slightly aggressive while doing a dry shave with an electric shaver that confirmed for me her heavy handedness and so I gave her this advice.
Try placing your finger down on the client’s skin first before making contact with the trimmers. This will give you better control and a softer touch.

This gentlemen had just got a shampoo, his hair was blow dried, and I thought I was recording me laying it down the loose ends when my apprentice brought to my attention that I wasn’t recording. The gentleman in the chair said, “just rub it real quick it’ll stand back up” 😳 and of course my coworker lost it! Y’all pray for me around these grown boys.

I’m gonna start sharing some of the abuse and foolishness I have to go through working with these kids around me!(some of them are actually older than me) I promise you I can’t say anything to some of my coworkers without him hitting me with a PAUSE or AYO 🤦🏾♂️!!
