Since 1903, the Tour de France has awarded the Lanterne Rouge to the last place finisher. Not as a symbol of defeat, but as a recognition of something rarer than winning: the refusal to quit. The rider who crosses the line last has survived everything the race threw at every other rider, and then some. The same mountains, the same weather, the same weight of exhaustion. The only difference is that they carried it longer. Over the years, riders have actually competed for the Lanterne Rouge, sacrificing time and position to claim it, because they understood what that distinction means. It is not a consolation. It is a statement. This year, we took notes from the Lanterne Rouge history, @midsouthgravel and @allbodiesonbikes . We incorporated their #DFL tradition into our new Results Analysis product. Now last place gets a place on the podium, just like at Mid South’s DFL party. Because at Movemint, we believe every finisher deserves to be celebrated. #NoResultLeftBehind 🏮 📸 @gwilliees

Some finishes happen long after the race has moved on. Long after the first place finisher has crossed the line, the podium has been celebrated, and the rider has taken everything the road had to give. And yet they are still out there, climbing, grinding, refusing to stop. At Mid South, the crowds don’t thin. The community stays. And when that last finisher finally crosses the line and collapses into something that looks a lot like joy, everyone is there to witness it, because they know exactly what it cost them to get there. That finish is worth celebrating just as loudly as the first. This year we were there at the finish line with flowers and the Lanterne Rouge, honoring the last place finisher the way they deserve to be honored alongside @midsouthgravel and @allbodiesonbikes . Every finisher deserves to be seen. That’s why we sorted Mid South’s results last to first. Find your Mid South result → movemint.cc/events/the_mid_south_2026 #NoResultLeftBehind 🏮 📸 @gwilliees

Every finish is a result. The best results take time. This year at the Mid South, we brought flowers to the finish line, and built Results Analysis to make sure every finisher is celebrated. Tag a finisher who deserves their flowers or drop your Mid South race result below for a chance to win a free entry to a race of your choosing on Movemint.👇💐 #NoResultLeftBehind 🏮 📸 @gwilliees

We are not just an event registration platform that happens to work in sports. We are runners, riders, and movers who built the platform we wished existed. Sea Otter was more than a “work trip” for the @movemint.cc team. We were out on the course, riding with organizers, running with brand partners, and doing what we do every weekend: showing up and moving with the people who build this sport. See you at @seaotterclassic in 2027 🫶 📸 @akp.photo_

Meet @shaigoodman co-founder of @themarinmile 🌉 Shai is one of the movers behind the Marin Mile. She’s a former NCAA lacrosse player from @occidentalcollege turned runner. Her love for movement doesn’t stop at running, she is dedicated to expanding accessibility in sport from surfing to strength training. When she’s not surfing or podcasting with @physicallyeducatedpod , she is building a race that makes track accessible to everyone. From first timers to the front pack, @themarinmile is all about bringing together a community of people to the track. The beauty is that elites and non-elites share the same track and the same experience, and the celebrations continue for everyone who shows up. There is also some unfinished business. No one has broken four minutes in the mile on Marin soil. This year could be different. 👀 Sign up for @themarinmile on @movemint.cc and we’ll see you on the track on May 30th. Link in our bio ✌️
