À Dakar, Mously Kébé et son fils Sidate partagent bien plus qu’un sens du style. Mannequin pour Jacquemus ou Dior, le jeune garçon incarne la nouvelle garde de la mode, tandis que sa mère compose chaque jour une mode personnelle et singulière.
Sous l’objectif de la photographe Zena Zeidan, le duo mère-fils déploie une complicité magnétique dans la boutique de Farah Gorayeb. Une conversation entre mode, design et transmission, portée par deux générations complices.

Last but not least : the backdrop 🦋
From the beginning, I knew I wanted a blue backdrop, and with @dancarter we had the idea of having it entirely painted by an artist. @mayaloha_ was the perfect one for that, she immediately understood the vision and helped bring it to life through textures, contrasts, and details that perfectly matched the storytelling behind the project.
Together, we refined every detail, searched for materials, tested textures and colors on smaller canvases before recreating the final piece on a much larger scale adapted to the dimensions we needed for the shoot.
On my side, I made several visual simulations beforehand to ensure the makeup, styling, and backdrop would all blend together harmoniously. I didn’t want something flat, but something alive, textured, and immersive.
So happy with the final result 💙

Le styling de cet éditorial a probablement été l’une des parties les plus challengeantes du projet.
Je voulais que Inner Glow ressemble à un poème raconté à travers des images figées des images qui parlent d’elles-mêmes, où chaque détail possède une intention précise.
De la plus petite pince aux poissons craftés à la main, des couleurs choisies aux accessoires, des matières au décor : rien n’a été laissé au hasard. Chaque élément suivait une logique, une émotion, une trajectoire visuelle pensée pour raconter quelque chose.
Je me suis entièrement occupée du styling et j’ai démarché plusieurs designers afin de sélectionner les pièces qui correspondaient le mieux à la vision du projet. Merci à tous ceux qui ont collaboré et prêté des pièces pour donner vie à cet univers.
Étant quelqu’un qui sait très précisément ce qu’elle veut artistiquement, je peux parfois avoir une direction difficile à comprendre sans la vision complète. Mais pour ce projet, je suis sincèrement reconnaissante que toute l’équipe m’ait fait confiance et ait compris l’univers que j’essayais de construire.
Il y a eu énormément de travail derrière : des allers-retours, des nuits à crafter des détails à la main, notamment les moussors une partie de mon travail que j’aime particulièrement développer jusque dans les plus petits détails.
Merci aussi à Gnilane pour son aide et sa présence sur l’assistance styling tout au long du projet.
Les backstages et la préparation représentent une immense partie du travail créatif, parfois même la plus importante. Si ce résultat existe aujourd’hui, c’est grâce à une énorme réflexion, beaucoup de précision et énormément d’investissement.
Et ce n’est qu’une partie de ce que ma créativité peut raconter 💙

For the makeup, I wanted something very precise and intentional. When I work on a project, I usually know exactly the feeling and details I want to bring to life.
Rafi immediately understood the artistic vision behind INNER GLOW. It wasn’t just makeup, but part of the storytelling itself. She perfectly brought my ideas to life while adding her own creative touch, which made the project even more special. Together, we created something truly magical.
