We weren’t sure whether this post was necessary but if there’s one thing we’ve always tried to be, it’s honest and transparent through the good and the bad times. The truth is, Mount has always been about the community. You guys are what makes Mount what it is, and we feel we owe it to you to say a huge thank you. Thank you for supporting us, for showing up, and for allowing our little business to grow and thrive over the past three years. 🌱
Our hearts are torn between being here at Mount and taking a leap into a new adventure together, in a new city.
But our amazing community and team have made it possible, and for that, we’ll forever be grateful.
A very special mention to Lewis, who has been an absolute rock at Mount. He’s shown up every single day, done an incredible job, and poured so much care and passion into what he does. And we’re SO excited to welcome Liam, our new Business Manager! Liam brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in hospitality, and we can’t wait to see him flourish in this role and help guide Mount into its next chapter. You may have seen him leading the way for community in Aberdeen with The Green Run Club.
Mount deserves fresh energy, new ideas and an incredible team to drive it. Stay tuned for all the exciting things to come for Mount and the community. The coffee, service and care will always remain the same. It will be business as usual. 🙌🏽
We’re so incredibly proud of what’s been created over the past three years, and we’re equally excited to see what the next three brings. It’s truly in the best hands, and knowing that makes it possible for us to embrace this new chapter of life.

A Friday morning thought 💭
I read a quote yesterday that said “building a business is more than profit- it’s about creating a community, fostering connections and making a meaningful impact. When you invest in people and the place you serve, success becomes a shared journey not a personal destination” 🏔️
It seemed to come just at the perfect time, owning a business is often challenging. The financial, economical and social constraints are never ending, if only it was just about making good coffee & building a lovely community.🫶🏼
I think the question of “why” is important, it’s important not to lose sight of your why. To reconnect with why you started, why you continue and why you plan for the future ahead. 💭
Believe in the power to create a life that aligns with your passions. To believe in yourself and let courage outshine doubt. Growth comes from pushing past the fears, embracing uncertainty, and trusting that the fire in your heart knows the way. Every step forward, no matter how small, is a victory over doubt. 🙌🏽
Follow the passion relentlessly, appreciate every little joy a day has to offer, reconnect with your why and see challenges as an opportunity to grow.
