NEW RELEASE x3
We’re very excited to announce a triple threat of new coffees. These are some of the best we’ve roasted, a great selection of origins and processing methods.
🇺🇬 Imbalu - an anaerobic natural from Uganda with plenty of fruit and depth. Big, syrupy and winey, with notes of cherry, blackberry and cacao.
🇨🇴 El Indio - a natural Colombian coffee with a very distinctive profile. Sweet and fruit-forward, with notes of red wine, bubblegum and vanilla.
🇨🇴 Brayan Smith - a washed Pink Bourbon with the bright, fruity character we love from this variety. Clean and complex, with notes of raspberry, plum and lemongrass.
Available online and through select wholesale partners.
A few clips from some wholesale espresso training last week.
We’ve always felt a coffee roastery should do more than just supply coffee. Alongside weekly deliveries, we help with ongoing barista training, brew recipes, equipment support, and any cafe operations advice.
Between us, we’ve spent over 20 years working in coffee, so we’re always happy to help where we can.
Our head roaster Sam running through this week’s QC.
It means tasting a lot of coffee, over-caffeination comes with the job.
Before anything leaves the roastery, we check every roast to make sure the coffee arrives with you tasting its best.
Exciting things coming up over the next couple of months.
Our summer coffee has landed and will release over the next couple weeks. Expect a juicy refreshing cup that works just as well hot as it does over ice.
We’re also getting close to our first birthday in August, and we’ve got some big plans.
Another week of roasting wrapped up.
We’re back in on Monday, packing and shipping all weekend orders.
Just a reminder that free shipping is available across all 1kg bags.
Spring is here, and with it some brighter coffees for the season ahead.
Over the past few weeks we’ve released two new arrivals:
La Leona - Pink Bourbon - Natural Colombia
Elie Nzabakunda - Red Bourbon - Washed Rwanda
Thank you to EVERYONE who came along on Saturday night to celebrate our collaboration with @haarcoffee . We had the best time!
Special shout out to Murray for providing the tunes, Rab for whipping up the espresso mountini’s (on his birthday no less!!) and to Thomas for the photos. Shall we do that again soon?! 👀
The Haar roastery.
Based in the northeast of Scotland.
From the beginning, we’ve drawn a lot of inspiration from the coast and the landscape around us.
We wanted to create a space that felt comfortable but functional. Somewhere we can roast coffee, but also somewhere to sit and enjoy a flat white.
A space that feels rooted in where we are.
