Context: We investigated Mr. Deepfakes for nearly a year before confronting David in person. We’d tried calling and emailing him for months for comment. No answer. We are a team of investigative journalists and we were lucky enough to be assisted by two separate security companies who cross checked data on all fronts. There were over a dozen data points that led us to this point.
