@mostly_d and the crew at @legacyeffects crafted Edi Gathegi’s Mister Terrific T-Mask for James Gunn’s Superman (2025) — with direct notes from costume legend Judianna Makovsky and her team. A perfect fusion of comic-book accuracy and next-gen design.
But the mask is only part of it. The T-Spheres are Holt’s true signature. 🟠 Edi even joked he’d use them to fly in real life — and watching him glide through that montage set to “5 Years Time” by Noah and the Whale was pure cinema. Light and hopeful, but tinged with melancholy 🤌🏾 a music choice that made the scene unforgettable and reminded us Holt is anything but stereotypical.
And Terrific’s shine doesn’t stop at the movies — he’s out here in Fortnite too, T-Spheres and all. Whether it’s Battle Royale or Metropolis, he’s proving why intelligence, strategy, and style belong in the spotlight.

Michael Holt is the CEO of Holt Industries, and one of the world's most brilliant inventors and tacticians who operates as a vigilante, Mister Terrific, using the T-Spheres to fight crime as a member of the Justice Gang, frequently working alongside the Kryptonian superhero Superman. After a battle against a Kaiju, Luthor exposed Superman's alleged mission to conquer Earth, turning the world and the Justice Gang against him. When Superman's girlfriend Lois Lane went to the Justice Gang for help to rescue Superman, they initially refused, but Holt went behind the rest of the team's backs and offered to help Lane on his own. They broke into Lex Luthor's Pocket Universe and assisted Superman's escape alongside Krypto, Metamorpho, and his son.
In retaliation, Luthor released an unstable rift that leaked out of the Pocket Universe portals to threaten Metropolis and lure out Superman. Terrific helped Superman defeat Luthor's henchmen and shut down the dimensional rift. With Luthor arrested after his conspiracy was exposed to the world, Terrific repaired the damage that Metropolis sustained during the battle.
Superman is an upcoming American superhero film based on DC Comics featuring the eponymous character. Produced by DC Studios and to be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, it will be the first film in the DCU and a reboot of the Superman film series. The film is written and directed by James Gunn and stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent / Superman.

After working on James Cameron’s 1984 game changer “The Terminator,” Mahan secured an invite to join the director’s sequel to Ridley Scott’s terrifying space odyssey, “Aliens,” where he spent eight weeks bringing the “Alien Queen” to life.
Flash forward to present day where director Fede Álvarez is up next to take a stab at the legendary franchise with his entry “Alien: Romulus.” Like Cameron before him, when it came time to crew up for his big production, Alvarez sought perfection. Mahan was immediately brought on board, marking his big return to the “Alien” series, only this time around, he’s running the show under his newly anointed banner of Legacy Effects.
